About Dmitriy Buyanov, MD

Dmitriy Buyanov, MD, provides exceptional services to people experiencing pain from his practice in San Antonio, Texas. Premier Pain Consultants offers comprehensive care for patients with back, neck, and joint pain, headaches and migraines, disorders like fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and various forms of arthritis.

Dr. Buyanov was born in Ukraine. After moving to the United States, he completed his anesthesiology residency at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine’s Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Buyanov also completed his interventional pain management fellowship there and is among the few fellowship-trained interventional pain specialists in the US. Before establishing Premier Pain Consultants, Dr. Buyanov was part of a multi-specialty neurosurgery group in San Antonio.

Dr. Buyanov takes a conservative approach to treating patients while providing a range of cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatments for those with persistent and severe pain. His extensive skills include spinal cord stimulator implantation and radiofrequency ablation using imaging guidance for optimal accuracy.
